At Compugen, we live by our values and are driven to make a difference. This drive shows up in various ways across all lines of business. One way is by offering eco-friendly and socially responsible asset disposition services. With our extensive experience working with customers of all sizes, we are committed to creating positive environmental and social impacts.
Compugen Finance Inc. (CFI), a proud wholly-owned subsidiary of Compugen Inc., launched the Green4Good program in 2010 to breathe new life into old tech. Instead of tossing out or storing outdated equipment, businesses can now sell these assets to CFI. They can donate the proceeds to their favourite charities, providing recipient organizations with the technology needed to make an impact.
In the world of tech, old devices become obsolete rather quickly. Rather than ending up in landfills, Green4Good refurbishes and resells these devices, significantly reducing e-waste. Since its inception, Green4Good has saved nearly two million IT assets from landfills and raised $3.5 million for over 225 charities worldwide, contributing to a global movement for a more sustainable future.

By aligning with the Green4Good campaign, customers can generate goodwill for their brand, support the environment, and benefit charitable organizations in their community.
Steve Glover, President , CFI and a long-time climate action advocate, sees the connection between business success and environmental efforts. “Businesses are starting to accept that we have a global climate change problem, and executives are starting to be measured by their actions,” says Steve.
Supported by a dedicated team of technical specialists across North America, Green4Good continues to expand with innovative programs such as:
FutureValue™: Apply the price of old assets sold back to CFI towards the purchase of carbon credits, recognized with the Most Innovative Leader Award by ClimateWise in 2022.
CarbonBank™: Generate verified carbon credits by trading in End-of-First-Life technology.
CarbonNeutral™ Lease: Receive credits towards financing the lease of new, carbon-neutral IT equipment.
Green4Good is the first to offer carbon credits for old IT gear through the CarbonBank™ program. It even offsets new IT purchases to make them carbon neutral, helping businesses realize new possibilities and cut their carbon footprint and climate impact.
The free Asset Disposal Assessment helps identify inventory, spot cost-saving opportunities, and ensure the best value for old tech. After the assessment, Compugen handles secure pick-up and disposal of old assets responsibly.
All computers undergo thorough testing and refurbishment by experienced technicians. Our recycling process, performed by ISO 9001:2015 certified partners, ensures environmental protection. Data security is maintained by adhering to NIST 800-88 standards to wipe and sanitize all disk drives.
