Certification demonstrates expertise in designing and deploying complex IoT solutions

Compugen is pleased to announce that it has achieved Cisco’s IoT Advantage Specialization, making it one of only eight Canadian partners that hold the esteemed technical designation. The most advanced specialization available from Cisco, IoT Advantage recognizes firms’ expertise and ability to design, deploy, and support advanced Internet of Things solutions.

IoT is fast becoming an essential technology that drives digital innovation and business transformation across many industries, from manufacturing to warehousing and logistics to retail. With the promise of real-time monitoring, data collection and processing, and insights that bolster enterprise decision-making, IoT is helping businesses across the globe streamline their operations with data-driven strategy.

Compugen’s specialization in this emerging technology space positions the company to empower organizations to realize the potential of IoT. With a focus on security, edge compute, data management, and connectivity, the Cisco-awarded designation represents the company’s ability to architect complex IoT solutions based on their unique needs. It also equips the Compugen IoT practice with the right tools to address opportunities as the platform evolves.

The Canadian IT solutions provider has been involved in several novel IoT projects across the country. References include monitoring systems for a chain food market to detect ajar cold room doors and maintain optimal refrigeration temperatures and rig-in-a-box access points for offshore oil rigs, which provide critical information on rig output, performance, fault incidence, and other business analytics.

“We are delighted to have the Cisco IoT Advantage Specialization under Compugen’s belt. This certification demonstrates our expertise in partnering with customers as they transform their businesses through the new possibilities of IoT. These are exciting times not only for our practice but also for organizations exploring ways to harness this new technology for success,” Inder Singh, Digital Transformation Architect at Compugen, commented.

“By achieving the IoT Advantage Specialization, Compugen has successfully demonstrated the necessary skills and in-depth knowledge to deploy Cisco Industrial IoT solutions. Together, we are uniquely positioned to transform our customers’ critical operations by bringing IT to the physical world to achieve their business outcomes: increase financial growth and resilience, improve worker safety, create new revenue streams, and meet environmentally sustainable goals,” Jason Chung-Tung, Cisco IoT Routes-to-Market Sales Leader for Canada, added.
