Recognition highlights ongoing progress in environmental impact, ethical practices, and responsible procurement.

Richmond Hill, ON, March XX, 2026 — Compugen Inc., Canada’s largest privately-owned Technology Ally, has earned an EcoVadis Commitment Badge, recognizing continued progress in its sustainability efforts and transparency.

The recognition is based on Compugen’s EcoVadis assessment, with results published on January 27, 2026. The company achieved an overall score of 53/100 and ranked in the 37th percentile globally.

Sustainability is becoming a more important factor in how organizations choose their partners. Today, many buyers include sustainability ratings as part of their RFP process. EcoVadis has emerged as one of the benchmarks they rely on to make those decisions.

Compugen’s results reflect strong performance in environmental practices, with a score of 72/100, along with steady progress across labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The Commitment Badge acknowledges both what has been achieved and the work still ahead.

“Our approach to sustainability is practical and accountable. It’s about making steady progress in how we operate and how we support our customers,” said Harry Zarek, Founder + CEO, Compugen Inc. “This recognition matters because it reflects real work reducing waste, improving transparency, and making better decisions over time. For our customers, it means they can move forward with a partner who is aligned to their values and focused on measurable outcomes.”

Compugen has participated in EcoVadis assessments since 2017 and continues to improve year over year, moving from the 44th to the 37th percentile globally.

That progress is supported by a range of ongoing initiatives across the organization, including:

    • A carbon footprint program established using a 2023 baseline and aligned with validated Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) commitments.

    • 70% of waste diverted from landfill and 98% of e-waste responsibly recycled.

    • A net reduction of 54.6 tonnes of CO₂e through certified recycling programs.

    • Employee engagement through the Compugen Green Team and community initiatives.

    • Ongoing commitments to B Corp and the UN Global Compact, maintained through Compugen Finance Inc. (CFI), a Compugen subsidiary.

For customers, this translates into clearer visibility, lower risk, and stronger alignment with their own sustainability and governance priorities. With more than 150,000 companies assessed globally, EcoVadis offers a consistent way to evaluate partners.

This milestone also builds on Compugen’s broader commitment to responsible business practices, including recognition through Cisco’s Environmental Sustainability Specialization and HP Amplify Impact 5-Star status.

As sustainability continues to shape technology decisions, Compugen remains focused on helping organizations align their IT strategies with measurable environmental and social outcomes.
