Compugen is bolstering its sales and marketing operations with two new appointments for Director of Marketing and Senior Sales Manager for Western Canada. Part of its accelerated growth initiative, this move sees the Canadian IT services provider strengthen its operation with customer experience at its utmost priority.
Heather Hill assumes the role of Director of Marketing after over a decade and a half with Compugen in different functions, including event and sponsorship marketing and customer experience. Heather is a highly respected leader and colleague, with numerous accolades from staff, peers, and partners. Under Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Terry Mirza’s guidance, Heather takes the helm to usher in a new era of high-impact marketing and elevate the company as a leader in brand strategy and market visibility.
Speaking on her recent appointment, Heather said, “Having been a part of marketing for over 15 years, I can’t wait to lead this team on the next stage in our journey. We look forward to becoming better aligned with sales, collaborating, and realizing new possibilities with our customers and partners.”
Ensuring the organization’s focus on Western Canada is Amanda Summers, Compugen’s new Senior Sales Manager for Enterprise. Joining the company with over 24 years of IT experience, the Calgary native has worked in a diverse range of business sectors, including energy and utilities, transportation, and retail, with esteemed names such as CP Rail and CNRL under her belt. In her new role, Amanda will be working with Compugen’s customers to help them overcome their business challenges through technology.
“I believe it is important to comprehensively understand our client’s business so that we may bring forward meaningful solutions while working in a dedicated fashion to develop and maintain their trust. I am very excited about starting the next chapter of my career with Compugen, and I am truly looking forward to meeting the entire team and our partners,” Amanda commented.
“We live in a world that is connected through digital, social, and brand impact. Compugen took a bold step to bring the Sales and Marketing teams under a single leadership model in 2022 in recognition of these changing paradigms. Implementing a modern approach to these practices allows us to create a lasting impact on partners, people, and the communities we operate in across Canada. This begins with the right leaders – professionals who exemplify our purpose as a company and the values on which we stand,” CSMO Terry Mirza concluded.
