[Richmond Hill, ON] November 28th, 2023—Compugen Inc., Canada's largest privately-owned and operated Technology Ally, is excited to announce it has just completed an infrastructure expansion project in its Calgary office facility. This initiative reflects Compugen's commitment to meeting the high demand for its services across Western Canada.

"Our Calgary expansion marks a significant milestone for Compugen as we ‘invest in the West’. Our goal is to not only meet the current needs of our clients, but to also be well-prepared for future growth," said Jeremy Erlick, Chief Operating Officer at Compugen, Inc.

Calgary has long been a hub for Compugen’s Western Canada region, serving notable clients in the government, education, commercial, utilities and energy sectors for over 25 years. Boasting a centralized warehouse supporting configuration, integration, and repair, Calgary is also home to Compugen’s sustainable reuse program, Green 4 Good, which helps clients reach their carbon neutrality goals. The newly updated space will be used to optimize the Service Repair Center (SRC) and Parts Depot, further driving Compugen’s services and supply chain efficiencies. Additionally, the Calgary branch is responsible for proactive scheduling and management of work, real-time status updates and visibility for both clients and internal stakeholders, and Quality Management System (QMS) processes.

“For more than two decades, Compugen has been dedicated to serving Western Canada with technology solutions that meet the needs of the local business community,” said Amanda Summers, Director, Corporate Enterprise West. “We take pride in meeting our clients’ requirements with speed and agility while supporting them throughout their digital journey. To further enhance our hybrid work presence for staff, we have also opened a new Modern Workspace in the heart of downtown Calgary, where we can collaborate with our clients in close proximity to their corporate offices.”

The additional warehouse and configuration centre capacity generated by this expansion will allow Compugen to introduce an extra shift and additional work benches, effectively doubling its operational throughput. This translates to faster and more streamlined service for Western-based clients. The updated facility will adhere to strict quality and security protocols, aligning with ISO standards.

In the words of Jeremy Erlick, "Compugen's investment in this infrastructure expansion reflects our ongoing commitment to serving our customers in Western Canada, contributing to the local economy, and setting new standards of excellence in the IT solutions industry as an employer of choice."
