[Richmond Hill, ON]: December 9th, 2021 - Compugen is thrilled to announce that it has been named Breakout Partner of the Year, Western Canada for 2021 by networking hardware company Cisco Systems. The award recognizes Compugen for its stellar performance this year in delivering ground-breaking solutions that leverage Cisco’s networking, security and collaboration technology to the Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan markets.
Compugen was also recognized for its key role in Cisco’s Country Digital Acceleration (CDA) program, which aims to collaborate with government leaders to build sustainable, secure and inclusive communities powered by ethical technology solutions. Compugen’s contribution included their work with Alberta-based Maskwacîs Education Schools Commission. Through the program, indigenous students from the MESc gained access to live and immersive educational services such as virtual field trips and mentorship programs via Cisco’s TelePresence system. Compugen spearheaded efforts to fund the program elements and was integral to the successful deployment.
This award joins Compugen’s growing roster of recognitions for 2021, which include Partner of the Year accolades from Arctic Wolf and Aruba, as well as Innovator of the Year honours from CDN for their work on Mackenzie Health’s Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital, whose complex network showcased the strength and capabilities of the Cisco Compugen alliance.
