Solution experts hailed for cybersecurity and networking innovation

Compugen experts Theo Stravropoulous and Salman Alibhai have been named All-Star Engineers at this year’s Cisco Canada Partner Summit Awards for their valuable contributions in the fields of cybersecurity and networking.

Coming on the back of the Canadian IT solutions provider’s 2022 Partner of the Year wins, the engineering awards honoured individuals across North America for their leadership in security and networking to achieve customer success through advanced Cisco solutions.

Theo Stavropoulous received the All-Star Engineer – Architectural Excellence: Cybersecurity laurel for his inventive approach to developing and executing joint security solutions and his trusted technical advisory to Cisco customers, such as NorthLeaf, Nova Steal, Princess Auto, and more. The San Jose, California-based networking technology leader recognized Theo’s collaborative passion for furthering the role of security in healthcare and IoT.

Salman Alibhai’s All-Star Engineer accolade recognizes his crucial role in Compugen’s pursuit of IoT specialization as he led the offer development and lab build of Cisco’s Industrial Asset Vision-based monitoring service for various use cases. He was also instrumental in integrating Cisco’s IoT solutions into the Canadian healthcare landscape. In the transport sector, Salman also championed IoT modernization for the Association du transport urbain du Québec (ATUQ).
